The Rising Phoenix

    “Time of Birth, 5:1
5 am”, the doctor announced as the baby cries out loud and a smile came out from my parents’ faces. It was their happiest day after months of being pregnant. It was their first princess and that princess is me. I was born being the heaviest baby in our family.
Since then, my parents were filled with expectations that I will grow as a person with passion and great determination.

    Growing up, I started to learn new things and explore new horizons. I became passionate in my education, discovered a talent which is singing, and even dreamt of becoming an accountant just like my aunt when I grow up. I favored the color turquoise which is a combination of blue and more of a green color. I enjoy movies such as horror and comedy. I am more of a ‘career first’ person rather than being in a relationship. I was also a consistent honor student since elementary. I used to join different extracurricular activities but I always end up being the second or even having no place at all. Regardless, the enjoyment I felt was enough for me and it made me grow stronger. Moreover, I find it fascinating how people show their solidarity towards each other that leads to a peaceful environment.

However, life wasn’t easy growing up. There were a lot of obstacles and problems that I have encountered and tried to solve but many of them just took me a lot of time and lots of energy to waste. Despite those difficulties in life, there is one thing that gives me hope and motivation to move forward—being able to attain my dreams. By these dreams, I was able to come up with a plan for my future. I will keep on trying to find a way to reach these dreams. I will focus on my education until I reach my goal to have the title I have ever dreamt of since I was young, to become a Certified Public Accountant.
